With our system the manager and the guard are automatically contacted saving time by putting the manager on early alert that there might be a problem whilst avoiding the time and cost of at least two phone calls not to mention the cost of the control room.
We created this product for ourselves and quickly recognised how similar the needs of other companies managing a mobile workforce were to ours.
The hidden additional benefit was the savings we made by terminating the contract with our control room providers.
Traditional control rooms make check calls and follow the escalation process if there is a no show. This results in additional phone call charges until eventually a manager is contacted and he then calls the missing guard and if necessary arranges cover.
